Are you having trouble with your die head opening when it's not supposed to? You may have a bouncy turret slide, especially when using a 6 hole turret.
Take the bounce out of your turret slide by changing the turret index from 1/2 second to 3/4 second.
CHANGE THESE TWO GEARS AND YOU WILL THINK YOU HAVE A NEW MACHINE! THEY DO WHAT THE MESSAGE SAYS AND YOU WON'T BELIEVE THE DIFFERENCE!
Install 1 Each:
42-57187 Gear 33T, Large ID
42-57188 Gear 73T, Small ID
42-57431 Feed Change Gear Chart
The above will change 120 RPM back shaft to 80/90 RPM. For the #00, #2, 2B and #3 B&S Ultramatics.
120 RPM Gears: 42-19325 44T Large I.D. & 42-16576-2 62T Small I.D.
